Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) invites online application for UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2026 for primary level class 1 to 5 and higher primary level class 6 to 8 against Advt. No. 01/ UPTET/ 2026.
All eligible citizens can submit online application form on the official UPESSC portal uptet.upessc.org from 27 March 2026 to 03 May 2026.

UP TET Eligibility Criteria 2026
| Class 1 to 5 | Class 6 to 8 |

| Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed/appearing). | Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed/appearing). |
| Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE norms. | Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (passed/appearing). |
| Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed (plus mandatory bridge course after appointment as per rules). | Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed Special Education (passed/appearing). |
List of Required Documents for UP TET 2026 Application
- Passport Size Photograph: 30 KB - 300 KB.
- Signature: 10 KB - 300 KB.
- Documents and Declaration: 50 KB - 500 KB.
- Valid Photo Identity Proof in PDF format.
- 10th, 12th, Graduation and other required certificates in PDF.
