Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the BPSSC ASI Operation Rejection List 2026 for the recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector ASI (Operation) posts. Candidates who applied for this recruitment can now download the rejection list PDF and check their application status.
BPSSC had invited online applications for selection to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector ASI (Operation) for 462 vacancies in Bihar Police Radio. Interested candidates were able to apply online from 04 February 2026 to 04 March 2026.

Bihar ASI Operation Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must have a B.Sc degree in Physics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks required by August 1, 2025.
For candidates belonging to SC / ST category, the minimum passing percentage is 45%.

BPSSC ASI Operation Syllabus and Test Pattern 2026
Preliminary Examination
Preliminary examination will be of 100 marks. It will contain 100 questions. The question paper will be based on General Knowledge and Contemporary Issues.
The total exam duration will be 2 hours. Candidates who obtain less than 30% marks in the preliminary examination will be declared unsuccessful for the main examination.
Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies will be selected category-wise for the main written examination on the basis of marks obtained in the preliminary examination.
Main Examination
The main written examination will consist of two papers.
Paper 1: General Hindi
The first paper will be of 100 marks. It will include 100 questions from General Hindi. The exam duration will be 2 hours. Candidates must obtain at least 30 marks to qualify.
The marks obtained in General Hindi will not be counted in the merit list.
Paper 2: General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and Mental Ability Test
The second paper will be related to General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and Mental Ability Test.
This paper will be of 200 marks and will contain 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
The number of candidates selected for the Physical Efficiency Test will be 6 times the number of vacancies category-wise on the basis of marks obtained in the main written examination.
There will be negative marking of 0.2 marks for every wrong answer in both stages of the examination.
